Use Of Different Mannitol Grades To Improve The Flow And Tableting Properties Of Powder Mixtures Dry Granulated By Roller Compaction

The Freund-Vector European Laboratories co-authored an important study presented at the AAPS show, October 17-20, 2021. Alongside Universita degli Studi di Milano, Freund-Vector showed the effectiveness and reliability using a TFC-220 to granulate several Mannitol raw materials.  The results are shown below. Furthermore, it confirmed that the use of powdered mannitol demonstrated the ability to prepare tablets with high drug loading up to 80% when dry granulation was operated at higher Roll Compaction force. The TFC-220 roll compactor also granulated the material with a remarkable aptitude for enabling the tableting process.
