Position Description: Assemble and debug a variety of equipment designed or manufactured by FREUND Inc. that meets or exceeds quality requirements and expectations in a cost-effective manner while adhering to all safety guidelines.

Required Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. Formal course on reading blueprints a plus.

Required Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in mechanical assembly required; pneumatic assembly experience required.

Relevant Skills: Must be able to read blueprints and pneumatic diagrams, perform hand drilling and tapping, and layout and fabricate parts; have good mechanical background and be familiar with the operation of machine shop equipment. Must be able to work overtime, including nights and weekends. Good verbal and written communication skills; accuracy, organizational skills; Ability to handle stress produced by time pressure, equipment design flaws, customer demands, etc.; Ability to concentrate for prolonged periods.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to operate forklift; requires some heavy lifting up to 60 lbs.; involves climbing and working at heights of 30-60 feet; necessary to work in small, confined areas.
